Alisa
can Teleport!
Alisa was a sixteen-year-old girl who was a complete socialiser. She always loved to hang
out with her friends and family. Among all her friends, she had one best friend
- Peter. Alisa and Peter were found together most of the time. They played, hung
out, studied and did various activities together. Alisa had one more close
friend, Michael. At her birthday party, Alisa was enjoying with Peter and
Michael. But suddenly, she fell from the terrace of her house. No one knew how
this happened, but actually, they didn’t care about it; they were focused on
taking Alisha to the hospital and saving her life. When Alisa became conscious,
she was very depressed. Her doctor, Ellen, told her relatives to make her feel
happy in any possible way. They cracked jokes, reminded her old memories and
everything they could do. The next day, Alisa was watching an image of her old
house shown by Peter, and then she suddenly disappeared. Peter, who was sitting
beside her, was extremely shocked and he quickly called the doctor, nurse and
everyone whom he knew to the hospital room. Everyone was shocked, and there was
pin-drop silence in the room for a couple of minutes. Everyone was confused, but
after some minutes, Michael said that they should be focusing on finding Alisa.
Alisa’s friends and her parents set off to find her, and meanwhile, Ellen
consulted a famous scientist and found the reason behind this incident. But she
did not tell anyone because she was not sure about the theory. Alisa’s
relatives were too tense to eat or drink anything. They knew that Alisa was
partially paralyzed and she could not move her legs and hence, could not go
anywhere. They took the help of Police and within a day, they found Alisa. She
was in her old house; lying on the floor and unconscious. They took her to the
hospital and waited until she became conscious. Then everyone started
interrogating her and Peter. But they knew nothing about the incident. Then the
doctor came in to solve all the complications. She said, “Please stop shouting;
I know why this happened. But please listen to me.” As soon as the doctor said
this, there was again pin-drop silence in the room. Then she began, “ Alisa has
a superpower! She can teleport anywhere; means she can travel to any place in a
fraction of seconds. I am not sure about how she got this power but Alisa, you
are the only person in this world who can teleport!” Quickly came Alisa’s
question, “But doctor, what is the process of teleportation? I mean, how can I
teleport?”. To this question, Ellen paused for some time to create suspense and
then she spoke, “You have to see a picture of the place to which you want to go
for a couple of seconds and then you will automatically reach there. Just like you
were watching the picture of your old house and you reached there.” Alisa was
feeling as if she were on the top of the world. Then Peter and Michael decided
that they will organise a party to celebrate Alisa’s superpower. The whole
environment was filled with happiness and once again, Alisa could hang out with
her friends and family. Alisa was quite happy at the party and was dancing with
madness but she could not stop herself from thinking about her teleportation.
Her mind was filled with questions like, “ Why am I the only one to get this
power? And how did I get this?” She was continuously thinking about this. Upon
seeing her in this condition, Peter asked her, “What’s going on in your mind
Alisa?” Alisa nodded as if she was thinking nothing. But Peter seemed
unconvinced and he asked again in a more familiar manner, “ I know that you are
thinking something. And now tell me quickly otherwise I will not talk to you.”
He left no choice for Alisa except to tell him. So Alisa told him that she was
thinking about her superpower. Peter felt that it is a serious matter and Alisa
will not come to the present moment until she knows the reason for her
superpower.
Alisa, Peter and Michael set off to find why Alisa got this power. They found their answer in an old book. The book was ‘Can we really Teleport?’ and a famous scientist wrote this book but it was not a bestseller as people in those times didn’t buy it because they felt that the scientist’s theory was unrealistic and was not possible. But the shocking fact was that his theory was true. The scientist explained that a person can teleport if he/she was born in a time when there were calamities all around the world, and Alisa was also born when there were calamities in all the directions of the world. The triplet kept on reading the book and moved on to further chapters with more curiosity. And the scientist kept on explaining in the book as if he was sitting in front of Alisa. He had written that to activate this power, the person has to jump from the terrace of his/her own house. And when Alisa accidentally fell off from her house, she activated her power. Now, Alisa can travel the whole world within minutes! The trio was very happy, and this time, Alisa too enjoyed the party. But Michael was quite concerned about Alisa because he always worried that what if Alisa went to another country without taking a picture of her home with her? He was more worried about the fact that she always has to take a physical photo of the place she wants to go to as the pictures in mobiles or any other gadgets would not work.
Cafe
Night
Days passed by,
and Alisa was using her power quite often. She just vanished from a place in
flashes and felt extremely joyful while doing this. One day, she took a bunch
of pictures of different tourist places in the world and started exploring
them. While passing through the streets of Paris, Alisa decided to rest in the
coffee shop for a while. She went to the nearby ‘Cafe Night’ coffee shop and
ordered an espresso
for herself. As she was relieving herself from tiredness and thinking, “ No
matter how a person travels, journeys are always tiring. I really loved this
coffee; it just vanished my tiredness”, she saw that two people were talking to
each other secretly. She found their conversation very awkward and keenly tried
to listen to their talk. She focused on them and tried to block other sounds
from outside.” Mam, do you need anything else?” Suddenly came the waiter’s
voice, and Alisa was terrified as if a ghost called her. She quickly replied to
the waiter that she didn’t want anything but her heart was beating very fast,
and it took her some seconds to calm herself down. After relaxing for a while,
she again concentrated on the whispering of those strange people. “So, where do
you think is the treasure buried?” “I don’t know; what I know is that the
island is impossible to reach.” “Can you tell me about how much treasure is
buried there?” “There are precious stones and gems. I have heard that if we
sell them, then the amount would be equal to almost 900 billion dollars.” Alisa
was amazed to hear this and a sense of greed arose in her mind. She decided to
get that treasure and it was easy for her as she could easily reach the island
with her superpower. But the problem was that she didn’t have any pictures of
the island. So she continued to listen to those people. She found that the
person giving the information saw it in a movie and when he researched the
movie he found that the movie was based on a true story. But he was telling the
other person just for fun because the place was impossible to reach and even
the hero of the movie could not reach there. Alisa got to know that movie and
decided to watch it. She watched the movie with Peter and Michael and got some
maps and photos of that island. After watching, they went to a nearby
restaurant to have dinner. Next day, Michael seemed a bit tense and he rushed
to Alisa’s house as if he wanted to tell her something essential. But Alisa had
already gone - to the island. The tension made Michael unconscious and he was
immediately taken to the hospital by Alisa’s parents. The doctor examining him
said that he was in a serious condition and could not become conscious before a
month. “But doctor! What made him be in this condition?” “He was very tense and
this condition is often caused by high pressure in the nerves present in the
brain.” Peter was extremely sad to hear this and he called Alisa to tell her
about that, but her phone could not connect. “There could be a network issue”,
he said to himself. When Alisa’s parents reached home, they found that Alisa
forgot to take her phone and they immediately called Peter to tell this. They
were greatly terrified because Michael and Alisa both were in danger and both
could not contact them.
Alisa on the Island
Alisa reached that island within a minute
and started to find the place where she has to dig in order to get the
treasure. The island was so huge that she was not able to find that mark where
the treasure is buried. It was the time for nightfall and she was sleepy. She
found a place under a big tree and slept there. The night passed comfortably
but the morning came with an unbelievable sight. Alisa found herself surrounded
by a group of strange people who were holding weapons in their hands. Alisa was
so frightened but still, she tried to talk to them. “Yu hu (who are you)?”
asked one of those people. Alisa didn’t get what they were trying to say but
she thought that they were probably asking about her. So, she started, “I am
Alisa. I have come here to take the treasure which is buried on this island”.
After saying this, she realised that she should not have said this; now these
people would not let her take the treasure, and so did happen. Although those
people did not understand what Alisa spoke, they got the word ‘treasure’
because it matched with the word ‘tresures’ in their language. While they were
trying to understand what Alisa told them, Alisa found her way to rush and save
her life. She ran to save her life as fast as she could. Suddenly, an idea came
to her mind! She had the materials required to dig inside the crust and so she
did. She made a secret place inside the earth for her hiding. This place was on
the edge of the island and those strange people seldom came there. This helped
Alisa to construct her hiding place. One day, while digging, she thought, “I
think I should go back home. I should be happy with what I have. I was being
greedy. Let’s go!” Then, suddenly she realises that she forgot to take the
picture of her house with her. The only picture with her was of this island.
She started crying, “Now does that mean I am stuck on this island with these
strange people forever? I want to go home. Please, someone help me! But nobody
can help me here.” After recognising that she is the only person who can help
her, she gathered herself and decided that she would make weapons with stones
and wood and fight those people. She would get her purpose of taking the
treasure fulfilled. It took her almost one year to make the weapons which were
worth fighting those people.
The Dreadful night
She set off during the night and killed every person she
saw. Many among those people could not save their lives because they were not
able to fight back due to the shocking attack. At last, she went to the house
where the king of those people lived. She angrily attacked the king and said, “You
said you won’t let me take the treasure. But see I am going to take the
treasure and cannot stop me from doing that.” Alisa didn’t know that the king was
able to understand and speak English. He replied, “Bet, yu alredy tuk thet (But,
you already took that)”. “What? But I haven’t!” came Alisa’s confused reply.
“Yu killed ech persan. So, yu tuk ar cultre (You killed each person. So, you
took our culture)”. “Culture? But I came to take the treasure.”. “ Yes.Yu tuk
tresures - ar cultre (Yes. You took treasure - our culture)”. “But treasure
means those gems and stones which are buried on this island”. “No! Thre ar no
gems nd stons hre (No! There are no gems and stones here).” Alisa was really
shocked after hearing this. She felt as if she were the murderer of so many
innocent people. She didn’t kill the king and apologised him from the very
depth of her heart.
Michael becomes conscious
In Alisa’s town, finally, there came the
good news - Michael became conscious. The first word he spoke was ‘Alisa’.
Peter said, “Yes, Michael, Alisa is alright, and she will be back soon with the
treasu…..” “That’s what I wanted to say! There is no treasure on that island.
The movie was fictitious. And the website which declared that the movie was true
was a fraud. And now, its owner is imprisoned. I was worried about Alisa, and
this news made me fall unconscious. And what date is today?” Peter replied, “It's
December 21”. Michael angrily replied, “Alisa went to that island on 24
December. It’s almost a year and nobody ever thought about her? Anyways, now
let’s think about how we can bring her back.” After speaking this, Michael,
Peter and Alisa’s parents started thinking about the solution. After thinking
for a while, Michael seemed cheerful, “Peter, do you remember how I was worried
about Alisa and I told you about the latest technology device?”.“Yes, but I
don’t know what that was.” Michael’s voice was becoming more moderate as he
spoke, “Wait, bro! I’ll tell you everything. That device was a location
tracker. But its special feature was that it can be used to track the location
of a person by swallowing it. And I put that device in Alisa’s food when we
went to have dinner after watching the movie regarding the treasure. Now give
me my phone so that I can track the location of Alisa.” Peter was too happy to
express his feelings. He quickly gave Michael’s phone to him and eagerly saw
what Michael was doing on his phone. It took Michael about two minutes to track
the exact location of Alisa. “There she is! Trapped on an isolated island.” He
said in a dominant voice, “Peter, I can’t go anywhere; my doctor would not
allow me but you take help from the police and somehow get Alisa back.” “Yes! I
will not wait for even a second now.” came Peter’s sanguine voice as he rushed
to the police station.
Mission rescue Teleporter
He explained the full story to the police
Inspector but what happened was really unbelievable. Inspector Jammy
interpreted the story differently. She thought that Peter has killed Alisa and
now is trying to cover up with some nonsense superpower story. But Peter was
ready for this situation since he knew that nobody at first would probably
accept the teleportation story. So, he made a call to Ellen and when she
explained everything to Ms Jammy, she agreed to help Peter and ordered her team
to start making a plan. It was very difficult since they knew that nobody had ever
reached that island but still, they didn’t give up. After about a month, they
came up with a perfect plan to rescue Alisa and they named the mission as
‘Mission rescue Teleporter’. But going to the island along with police officers
seemed insecure to the government. The government didn’t allow Ms Jammy to go
there. There was sadness in the room but then, the Hero entered - Michael! He
changed the plan and this time, the government too agreed as it was safer than
the previous one. Now only the execution of the plan was left and it took them
no time to do that. Alisa was feeling guilty and didn’t eat anything for two
days after she killed those people. She just lost all the hope of getting back
to her home but one joyful day, she saw a ship getting towards her island. She
was fully charged up and waved to the ship so that they could rescue her. But
she wasn’t aware of the fact that the ship was indeed coming to help her only.
As the ship was coming towards her, her heart was beating at a faster rate. She
was so excited to go home, to enjoy all the pleasures she had once, and at the
top of that, she was excited to meet her parents, and her friends, Peter and
Michael. When the ship came about 20 feet from the island, Alisa was totally
surprised. She saw Peter and Michael on the ship! They were along with some
police officers and after watching this, Alisa burst into tears. She was so
thankful to her friends and she became sure that Peter and Michael were her
best friends. Many joyful thoughts were going on in her mind while the ship reached
the island. Peter and Michael jumped off from the ship and they were extremely
elated. Alisa, Peter and Michael could not understand what to say. They were
just watching each other and standing still. Then Peter said, “Come on! Let’s
not waste time! Alisa, come, let’s go home.” “Yes!”, came Alisa’s voice as
she just came out of her dream world. They quickly boarded in the ship and
sailed back home. As soon as Alisa entered her town, she rushed to her home
to meet her parents. Her parents started crying after seeing Alisa and tightly
hugged her. After this incident, whenever Alisa decided to do something or go
somewhere, she made sure that she should not do anything hastily.
